The Aquasana Rhino EQ-1000-AST-UV is a 1,000,000-gallon whole-house water filter that combines carbon and KDF filtration media, a salt-free water conditioner, and a UV purifier. The carbon/KDF stages are independently tested to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 to remove up to 97% of chlorine, while the SCM salt-free conditioner reduces scale without salt, backflushing, or electricity, retaining healthy minerals. The optional UV stage is NSF/ANSI Standard 55 Class B tested to sterilize up to 99.8% of bacteria and viruses. An improved divider valve sustains up to 11.8 GPM with no noticeable pressure change, and the system is rated for a million gallons or about ten years before tank replacement.
